AT&T, YOU ARE HERE, and our sister agency CSE have worked together for years to draw attendees to their presence and give them engaging interactions that educate and assist in selling their advanced solutions. In 2016, AT&T’s story is larger and more layered than ever before. The booth included exhibits on IoT, mobility, entertainment, networking, smart cars, mobile health, and home automation.
AT&T’s experiences are a stand-out success, often the talk of whatever event they appear in. For the wireless industry’s largest U.S. conference, AT&T challenged us to outdo all previous years. This was no mean feat, as the conference’s high-tech audience and industry press is tough to impress. |

Our approach
Working across more than a dozen stories and stakeholder groups, YOU ARE HERE and CSE created a strategic layout that drew attendees in with attractive displays they understood, like a VR experience around autonomous drones for IoT and a 2017 Porsche Macan for smart cars. These irresistible displays led further into the footprint with kiosks for specific solutions for differing needs, leading to giant 16-foot 6K resolution touchscreens that showed off living tableaus for residential and smart city platforms. The experience culminated in a jaw-dropping 360° virtual reality theater that enclosed up to 40 visitors at a time in a 22’x10’ space, surrounding people in realtime graphics illustrating AT&T’s next generation network. AT&T’s booth at CTIA 2016 was a smash hit, consistently drawing and keeping attendees in the footprint, and breaking all previous engagement records in the process. As we often do, many of the experiences have been adapted to reuse in offices or as mobile tools for AT&T’s salesforce. |
