Experiential Tech for AT&T at MWC 2016
Each spring, Spain draws the most connected people on the planet - the mobile industry - to Barcelona for Mobile World Congress, the largest industry gathering on the planet. On the show floor, U.S. telecom giant AT&T consistently impresses with striking booth design and amazing technology. The 2016 MWC Expo was no different. Returning for third year, YOU ARE HERE and sister agency CSE created a number of beautiful and useful displays to teach show attendees about AT&T’s impressive and expanding offering.
AT&T’s booth is within the GSMA’s “Innovation City,” a dynamic and elegant space at the center of the expo floor. Humming with activity for 12 hours each day, crowds pack in looking for a glimpse of the future. YOU ARE HERE provided displays large and small to tell AT&T’s story. An impressive large transparent touchscreen (100” diagonal) showed off a virtual smart city of IoT use cases. Other transparent touch screens explained solutions for building your own IoT apps and secure network solutions. The booth was rounded out with a beautiful projection-mapped cube that was integrated into a cargo crate display.
The booth was an unqualified success, providing a supportive space for sales and client engagement. Many of the experiences we created were ported to other platforms and deployed in the field to support sales teams.
